St Bartholomews Church
This ruined Grade II*, C17 church near Buntingford, Leyston, Herts. has not been used for approximately 65 years.

Flint and brick garage complete prior to commencement of church
Image Image Image Image Image Image Image Image Image Image Image Image The client has gained planning permission to convert the church in to a single dwelling.

As part of the planning application a report had to be provided, indicating the structural repairs required to the fabric and also to indicate the proposed new works for the conversion.

There was no roof to the nave. A new roof structure with integral bedroom accommodation has been constructed. A raised area above s semi-basement gives living accommodation, overlooking the chancel.

Detailed drawings were prepared for Building Regulations.

Archaeology wasaddressed prior to project commencement.
