Barn in Kent
Situated high on the North Downs to the north of Charing, this un-used timber framed barn had fallen in to a condition of disrepair.

Whilst the upper structure was largely intact, the sole plates and plinth were in an extremely poor condition.

The timber frame was repaired and the plinths underpinned and repaired.

A timber mezzanine was introduced to form the new first floor.
