West Hill House
Five storey new build block of flats. Two storey Reinforced Concrete earth retaining structure, with timber frame over.

ImageThis block of flats on this site will replace pair of semi detached houses. There is to be two retail units at ground floor. Social housing will also be incorporated within the development.

Due to the steepness, the sloping site down to the east, the ground floor structure is earth retaining, however due to the necessity to provide an entrance road for car parking also to the east, a lower retaining wall system is required to retain this route.

The first floor structure is a transfer slab to allow the construction of a three storey timber frame over

On site. Due for completion 2007.
